Taking a break from my summer mht sabbatical to point out that hockey is not the most popular sport at Miami (football is), let alone “by far the most popular sport.”

2113-14 Sucked. 2114-15 was the last good season.
It wasn’t good on the ice, but student interest was at an all-time high after coming off our CCHA regular season title, another NCAA tourney appearance, our new NCHC membership, and our winless football season (i.e. all-time low interest there).

I would guess that student attendance last season was the best it’s been since 2015.
There is interest in the program. Berg has to win to sustain it.

Agreed. With Goggin so close to a lot of the underclassmen dorms, potential interest in the program is always going to be there. If they start winning again students attendance will come back.

Welcome to MHT Chill. Yes, several games were sold out and the students are amped again this season. Definitely need a better result to keep them around.
