Beat Ludvig and the GreenHawks to save our season series

Hopefully an ass wooping can be a catalyst for something

Brutal.

Something’s gotta change

Sad to see the seniors go out this way.

Wonder who’s gonna sign a pro contract in the coming days…

1-16-1 since New Years. Simply brutal!

Good try, Berge. Had high hopes and you were miles short of my expectations. Nothing personal, you just failed your Alma mater in a huge way. Good luck in your next adventure.

If they lose the opener next season the winless streak will tie the longest one in program history

No coach will turn this hockey program rill we get out of thin conference

Man my heart just goes out for some of these guys. Like Robby Drazner, he’s worked so hard and given so much to this team over the past 4 years and his senior season ends up being the worst season in NCHC history.

I checked and he happened to be scratched for the WMU and Niagara wins so his last collegiate win came during the THANKSGIVING BREAK series against Mercyhurst. Imagine going back in time and telling that kid he’s not winning another game after that. He deserves better. They all do

If you look at conference wins he hasn’t won in over a year. His last time playing in a conference win was against Minnesota Duluth last February

Former hawks still in it for the natty: chase pletzke (& he had a big assist last night), red savage, ludvig persson, ben kraws, joey cassetti, and kirk laursen

Alex murray and his team were eliminated last night like us and Brian silver and his team have been out for a while. Rico’s team was eliminated last week.

Give me 4 of those 8 and Miami is in good shape.
Recruiting has been good. Its about retention.
Any of those “ former RedHawks” being paid NIL?

Good is a strong word😂 I wouldn’t call us good when we had them on our team. Pletzke finished last season 0-0-0 with us, Kirk didn’t play a game for us, Ben lost his job in net halfway through the pod. Plus Alex was injured most of this season, and Brian was a healthy scratch a lot of the time on his team this year.

If those 4 included ludvig Joey and red I agree. I also miss the presence of nick donato and just some extra bodies we could have used for injury/internal competition. Our team was smaller this year by a few skaters.

Joey Red Brian and Ben are on opendorse which is an NIL site, not sure how well they’re doing on there. Red is also on MSUs NIL site. Kirk apparently has an endorsement with barstool sports but it happened while he was at Miami. Can’t find much on nodak athletes NIL stuff.

Technically a couple of our players partake in NIL deals, PJ Fletcher signed up with Miamis new partnership with influxer merch and Teddy is on opendorse.

Even if players are on Opendorse they might not get lots of deals, it’s just a way companies can contact them for appearances, endorsements, etc.

I also think it depends on the NIL culture of the program. For example Omahas entire athletics program pushes it like crazy so lots of their players are benefiting from it getting deals and becoming very connected with their community. Miami not so much.

Some of the prices on opendorse are interesting and the magnitude of the deals vary too, with some smaller deals you might not make so much money and it’s little shoutouts and online posts but on the other side you can also get reached out to do a Super Bowl commercial like a player at Wisconsin booked.

But I’m also not an expert on NIL deals :joy: I’m just nosy
