Miami blew their early lead and went down 8-7 in the 5th. They eventually tied it up in the 7th and took a 9-8 lead in the 9th which they closed out to win the game and the series! After this series Miami sit .5 games out of 2nd with 1 series left. It will be hard to get that first round bye since Miami only have 1 MAC series left compared to Western Michigan with 2 left. Miami did just clinched qualifying for the MAC tournament (if my math is correct)
