We are on the West Coast of Florida and were still able to see the smoke trail from the launch. Awesome!

Doubtful since the missions of NASA and SpaceX are vastly different. The mission of the former is largely focused on exploration, research, and data collection, whereas the mission of the latter is about efficiently putting payloads into space/orbit for profit.
