Now that we’ve won… 25 Seton hall and 24 Tennessee have lost today
23 Utah St trailing at the half against GCU.
25 Seton Hall lost twice. They are definitely out.
24 Tenn lost today. They are definitely out.
23 Utah St is trailing in the second. If they lose, they are out.
21 UGA had a bad loss to Ole Miss earlier this week. The are definitely out.
20 Louisville lost earlier this week to rank UVA. The probably hang on.
26 SLU will get ranked if they beat Richmond today.
27 Kansas beat Iowa St and Baylor. They are definitely getting ranked
28 Iowa lost to Purdue but beat IU, so they should still hover in receiving votes.
29 Miami won their two games. Rank us you cowards.
30 Villanova and 31 Wisconsin are threats to jump us. They both didn’t lose in their major conferences. It’s generally rare a team jump from 40ish votes to ranked without a big win, so I wouldn’t expect them to, but one could.
So I see 3 definitely outs, 1 maybe with Louisville that I lean towards staying in, and then 1 more definitely possible with Utah St.
Kansas and SLU will take 2 of those spots almost certainly. I like our chances quite a bit right now, and love our chances if Grand Canyon hangs on.
If UCF beat Arizona (doesn’t look like it but it’s early) they’ll probably be back in
I don’t want to be ranked. I want to enjoy the growing noise and rebellion against the powers disrespecting mid-major teams.
14 UNC is down to cal potentially losing their second of the week to unranked teams.
Georgia might stay in as they are up against 17 Arkansas
I get the sentiment, but the amount of time, money, and mental well being I’ve put into this team over the last 21 years. Traveling from Spokane to Cancun to Durham and everywhere in between to watch us (mostly lose). 27 years since we saw a number. I want it!
I just want to see it. There’s no guarantees. Who knows if we win out. If we win in Cleveland. If we get a chance at the dance. At least if we get that number by our name, that’s something we’ll always have for this special season.
Ultimately, getting ranked in January is totally meaningless, I get that, but also it will mean everything to this program. They deserve it. The players on this team that chose to stay at Miami when they would have had chances elsewhere deserve to say they played on a top 25 team.
I don’t care about the ranking, but an exciting Miami win and a Carolina loss would make it a very good day around here.
Utah state lose!
Vandy loses.
Arizona is in a fight with UCF (up 2 with 13 minutes remaining)
Arizona losing would mean jus 2 undefeated teams… but UCF would certainly take one of the top 25 spots.
UNC loses their second game of the week

23, 24, and 25 all lost.
There are two teams not ranked that both deserve to be in the top 25. Mike Decourcy had both as #9 seeds in his tournament bracket this week.
Georgia wins. So they likely stay in, even with the loss earlier in the week?

Gained at least 1 voter!
Seton Hall and Utah State will fall out of the rankings and those spots will be claimed by Saint Louis and Kansas.
Also, very good chance Tennessee drops and that spot will come down to Iowa, Miami, Villanova and Wisconsin.
