Any new hoops Arena updates?

Correct. Pete Best was the original drummer.

No, he transferred from Midland and was at Eastern Arizona before that.

England can get very cold. Stay warm!

Just heard from a little bird that COOK FIELD will be the location of the new bball/athletic arena. Millett will be razed to create green space.
No news on hotel but that is reported to be the preference of the developers of the hotel.
GREAT NEWS. Now get going ASAP!

Yes, this was reported several weeks ago when the board approved the site choice: Board of Trustees approves Cook Field arena site - The Miami Student

HOW DID I MISS THAT!!

Oh, well. Another indication of creeping age and mental decline!!

I was gonna bust you and write “dude, you’re not paying that little birdy enough.”

Along with a hotel and casiono how about throwin’ in a mall with a food court and lots of signs! I own a sign company and I like lots and lots of signs. Lots of big honkin, way too bright, neon winkin’ and blinkin’ signs. Think Vegas baby. Who needs grass and open spaces. Way too over rated. Oh, I forgot, gotta’ have an efin six story parking garage. (With lots of light up the night verry, veeerrrrrrry bright, winkin’ & blinkin’ signs on all four sides of the thing!!!)

Do you all do neon? Or rather, can you fix vintage neon? I would love to buy and restore the original Brass Ass sign.

=>Disagree completely. You are a dumb dumb stupid head poopy face. Don’t ever post again.

Should be opposite of Vegas

New arena should be rustic…built from logs. Call it “THE CABIN.”

ICONIC!!! I made some renderings…

=>mollautt Hall aka “THE CABIN!”

In the words of Kenny Rogers (who had a chicken outfit a few years back) it’s the wood that makes it good.

Allstate Arena just outside Chicago has a wooden roof to help block the noise from O’Hare every three minutes.

I was in Spain in November. You don’t see parking lots or parking garages in many of their historic cities. There is plenty of parking, though. It’s mostly underground. Cádiz had tons of unobtrusive underground parking.

Davearams would have trouble in Spain. A few years back they basically outlawed signs that could be seen from highways and biways. The lone exceptions you see are the historic huge Tio Pepe and Sanbourne’s Toro silhouette billboards which were deemed to have cultural significance and were grandfathered in.

I really, really hope and expect we aren’t sticking a casino in this project.
