The other guy said it was his 100th win.
This must be if the many worlds theory of quantum mechanics is true!
A mythical legend in the MAC
How is Chuck paying these announcers off with his paltry MAC salary?

Well 2pt increase on O, 2 of 12 on 3rd down?..fine, a win is a win.
Bake says “it was a good win. A VERY good win”. Bless his heart.
Well it is better than the alternative.
…not many posters here today…it’s sad but optimists like Ballcoach doesn’t know how badly long standing Miami fans (like me and many others on this board) want to win and be optimistic.
But w a Chuck-coached team it is just so hard to do so…even today with all the miserable recent outings I secretly had hope that w Gabbert back and working the rust off, we would show some life on offense…but alas, it was another rough outing w mediocre output against a pretty awful opponent.
Maybe it’s injuries on the line or just bad play-calling and use of personnel, but we had some very good running game early in the season against better teams than we are playing now…it’s a real “head-scratcher” that we can’t run effectively on the likes of Akron.
Oh well, a win’s a win and there is always hope but the trend line on success on offense remains flat.
I noticed that. Thought for a minute that my phone had frozen.
I sorta wonder if Brett is still a little injured. Timing looked odd on a few throws.
10 days to get healthy and get the offense in gear. OU is essentially a must win with a road game v NIU up next. Hopefully we will get some guys back bc we’ll need it. Man I hate OU
I wonder if Reghi knows what the word “virtually” means?
Went to the game. Defense was really solid. Special teams had some really good moments and one bad one. Offense was weak again. Brett doesnt look great but we didnt catch the ball- block or run. We really need to completely overhaul the offense. Chuck wants to be a running team. Fine then get a running offense. Not this offense were the runners have almost always get the ball with no momentum
But it was a good win.
Brett was pretty bad. Missed 14 points just on terrible accuracy. Then again…
Akron went for 2 from the 47 yard line! How can you not love this insane conference! A perfect decision for the perfect month of weeknight MACtion! A Hail Mary on a 2 point conversion! I guarantee none of you old timers have seen THAT before.
We won Jeff.
Sacks…you were expecting them to try a 62 yard fieldgoal?
After game analysis…this gruel is hard to take. Yea it’s a win but outgained by f’in Akron.
As an aside, kind of a chuckler isn’t it that the backup signal calling QB got tossed from the game:)
Huh? It was a two point conversion attempt, after three unsportsmanlike penalties on their initial attempt. It was their only option.
@Ballcoach1 thanks. I have followed and supported Miami athletics for years. I am beyond weary of the acceptance of mediocrity. You can celebrate it, but I’m not on board.
A win is a win.
It is what it is.
It’s still hilarious. How great would it have been if they just punted!
