Abbey Hoff Update

An update on former Miami WBB player Abbey Hoff. Abbey left a good job in management this past year to pursue her dreams of playing professional women’s basketball. Since October 2022, Abbey has been playing for Baerum Basket Bekkestua in Norway. She is the second leading scorer on the team at 14.7ppg and second leading rebounder at 7.3rpg. Her team is 11-5 and currently in 3rd place in the league.

Because of injuries on her Norwegian pro team, Abbey has now been moved to PG. In her first game as the starting PG, earlier this week, Abbey had 34 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Not a bad start!

For those interested, Abbey’s season with her pro team in Norway is coming to an end in April. She has received an offer and has accepted to play in a high Mexican women’s pro team this summer. She is averaging 15.7ppg, 7.9rpg, and 3.1apg as the starting PG for her team in Norway. She has also played SF and SG this year for them as injuries dictated.
