Besides playing for Miami, Gabby also won a girls basketball state championship for Forest Park High School, which is now part of Winton Woods High School.

Besides being a Miami player, back in the 80’s the state AAU tournament girls 16 and under and 18 and under was held in New Bremen and I was a friend of the guy who ran the tournament and also coached a team and I talked to Gabby quite a few times then. So I knew her better than most of the girls who played at Miami.
Congratulations to one of the Miami flock who flew higher than most during her years in Oxford. She’s a winner, for sure.
