Since the win over Akron, I have taken part in the tradition of the “victory root beer.” I won’t be drinking a root beer now, those are reserved for Miami victories. But a “last undefeated team in men’s college basketball” ginger ale sounds pretty darn good right now.

EMU leads by 7 at Kent at half. I wouldn’t classify Eastern as “good,” but I also feel like they could knock off any MAC team when they’re clicking on all cylinders.

Kent comes back and beats EMU. Buffalo holds on to the 8th spot, winning at Ball State. Toledo putting away Western and BG with a double digit lead early in the second half in front of what looks like 56 people in Dekalb

In non MAC - Marshall is losing by 13 to ODU.

Yep, Herd rallied from 17-point second half deficit to nip ODU 81-79. They are really struggling while playing without their injured 7-4 center, and ended up with a 4-guard lineup.

Agree VT has a ways to go, but picking up their first Quad 1A win is not a good thing for us. Same goes for TCU, Mizzou, Ohio St and New Mexico all picking up good wins last night. These are the teams we will be compared to if we lose in Cleveland.
