ODU will win. SBC wins the challenge. Top 8 in the MAC go 1-7 with Miami and bottom feeders NIU and Ball St as the only wins tonight.
Even for the MAC road night, a truly brutal showing.
And that gives the sun belt the challenge overall

Well, the guys just have to do it in their own.
8 games decided by 6 points or less and the MAC went 2-6 in those games. With all the games being on the road, it shouldn’t hurt us too much. The only one that’s a real problem is BG getting smacked around by Arkansas St.
Just keep winning and don’t worry about other teams.

Agree. Keep our eyes on the prize - the MAC Championship. Not our problem that the top 8 MAC teams went a combined 5-11 against the Sun Belt this year, going 4-4 at home and 1-7 on the road. We did our part by sweeping our 2 games, which tells you how bad the rest of the top 8 fared.

Oddly the only other two teams to took care of business were… BSU and NIU.
And 2 of those 4 wins were against ULM, one of the poorest D1 athletic programs in America with a basketball team ranked #352 in Ken Pom.
ODU, who just beat Ohio, lost to ULM at home.
Xavier just lost to St John’s in OT, featuring one of the all-time worst clock-awareness possessions I’ve ever seen. Thanks X! That Pitino Jr. thing is really workin’ out for ya!

All the vitriol those X fans posted to our site about him being terrible shows how clueless they are about hoops. Forget MU for a second and the awesome run he’s had here. If you compare him to Pitino at X, Steele has better wins. The first time I ever heard Travis speak I was sold. He had solved the what/how/why for the program. Just needed time to execute it right.
