With all of the talk about our schedule this year, have we heard anything about the schedule next year? I realize that we won’t have anything official for a while, but I would think that all of the talk about of scheduling challenges would help lead to games for next year. At least out of not wanting to look like teams are dodging us.
Well, thanks to the FOIA request, we learned that Kansas claimed to be willing to discuss next year…

There have been rumblings of an MTE in Vegas next year. I expect next year’s schedule to be very competitive

Scheduling outside of an MTE will still be contingent on roster..let’s cross that bridge when we get there. jobs not finished
22 conference games next season, so that means just 9 OOC. I imagine we’ll be hosting Wright St., and we’ll have a H/H in the MAC/SBC Challenge, so that just leaves 6 in the non-con.
UNC Asheville and EKU both come to Oxford as well I believe

Next year the NCAA goes to 32 games for the regular season.
Miami will have 22 MAC games, 2 Sunbelt Challenge games, 2 or 3 mte games in Vegas, and a game at a top 10 team in the south.
