The Dodgers don’t care. They realize that by signing a bunch of older players, pitchers specifically, that they will be injured more often. They just sign more of them to compensate. Their television contract allows them to bring in more $$$ than anyone and by deferring so many salaries, the existing luxury tax system doesn’t have an impact.
Also, the Dodgers are a well run organization and have a fruitful minor league system.
