What is up with that?
It’s on there now, Miami starts ranked 10th nationally, with UMass ranked 15th. 3 women from my daughter’s former club, Field Hockey Life, on the team!

What was the score of the exhibition match with OSU?
These women rule the field (the pitch?) They’ve won the MAC regular season 9 THAT’S NINE years in a row and the MAC tournament 8 years in a row. Last year made the NCAA tournament Elite Eight.
That’s just hard to believe. totally amazing.

It’s field hockey, not pitch hockey. Though I feel like most FG facilities still use that carpet-like Astroturf.
Knew it sounded a bit off. Just couldn’t put a finger on it. Thanks for the correction. Need to start following them better so I can get the basics right.
Field hockey (#10 nationally) lost to Louisville (#19) in season opener 2-1 in shootout.
It appeared we dominated action but could not score. 9 shots on goal for us compared to 1 for Louisville.

Huge weekend tournament in Evanston. #2 Iowa on Friday and #1 Northwestern on Sunday.
we need to start raising funds for this team
2-1 loss to #2 Iowa. We led 1-0 with under 10 mins left
2-0 loss to #1 Northwestern. SOGS not too bad as Miami only trailed 11-8. Penalty corners were well in the Wildcats favor though.
