Mollautt saying Bluesman doesn’t speak logic.

OldRedskin you understand. When the time is right and if he is staying, in the very near future an announcement will be made. It won’t be kept quiet. Perhaps one that maximizes the exposure as well. And until then recruiting behind the scenes. This will all play out in due time. And if Travis is leaving we must assume Sayler has contingency plans for that as well. Sayler has shown foresight past Miami AD’s never showed.

Could this affect Miami? Being reported Josh Schertz withdrawing himself from NC State consideration.

Well that’s good as NC State might be a pretty hard job to pass on if they came Steele’s
way.

They had a great coach who got them to the final 4 and then they fired him a year later. Stupid expectations.

Schertz likely turned it down because salary and roster money aren’t as good as what he has at SLU. Or not enough to compete at the top of ACC. Gainey their target now.

Steele following portal entrants on Twitter would mean he knows there will be spots opening up on his roster, correct?

no..but Always Be Crootin. Your own guys and anyone else who is available.

We have spots open-Suder and Woolfolk are graduating. Rosters now are 15.

Bluesman how many are on ships? With two freshman coming in how many?

Yes, and I believe Steele has said in the past he doesn’t plan on using 15 scholarships. Or am I thinking of someone else?

I think our roster is:

2 incoming freshmen + Stowers

Sophomores Perry, Kirby, Robbins, Waltz

Juniors Byars, Skaljac

Seniors Elmer, Atlason, Ipsaro

That leaves a minimum of four spots open if we keep the whole roster.

Is Kotecki not coming back?

=>No announcement that he is not coming back.

NC State is the Auburn of college basketball - decent history and capable of competing if the stars align, but they’ll never be able to truly match their blue blood rivals and the expectations ruin them. It’s a tough pill to swallow.

He once accidentally hired a sex predator with a .237 win percentage because he didn’t have a plan in place for when our coach got hired away.

And with the Glenn Box home run hire Sayler shows he has learned from his mistakes.

I’m not sure that hire necessarily proves that. Per Sayler’s own timeline for the process, Box didn’t even come onto his radar until more than a week into the search.

If you’re really conspiracy minded, the day Sayler said he first reached out to Box was the day after he was mentioned and heavily debated as a potential candidate on MHT.
