I think Iâd be afraid of Kim the most.
yes, but also think sheâd be the best to shut down a bar with. Lane and Wade would lose interest quickly.
$9M for NCST vs $10M for LSUâŚneither are crying poor.
Oh Archie! What are ya dooooinâ?

Bill Murrayâs son is the new HC at BC
Best of luck, Bill Murrayâs kid.
Congrats to the BC fans that get to hang with Bill Murray now
Man, if they canât do any better than Archie Miller after his last four years at Rhody, the ACC really is cooked
Iâm going to assume they were caught kind of by surprise by LSU hiring McNeesâs AD and firing their current coach out of the blue all to hire Will Wade back.
Troll account lol. They want him gone so bad just like the Dayton fans donât want Grant
The fools at NC state fired Keats who got them to a final 4. They are the definition of clueless. Wade stayed one year.
At this point I donât trust most reporting until itâs from official source. Remember when Chuck Martin was going to Purdue because an account with a Rizzler photo said it was a done deal?
Not the Hurricanes trolling Wade and State ![]()
Rod the Bod is a regular season winner.
Yes, some of us that have been on here for a couple decades remember the âdone dealâ. ![]()
Speaking of, I see he retired last year:
Popular? Maybe in Huntington. But who cares about the opinions of those Deliverance characters?
To give him his due, Chuck Landon was an early pioneer in âsourcingâ columns from message board rumors, which we once used to somewhat hilarious effect.
=>WILD CHUCK LANDON/MHT.com STORY:
My wife is a big fan of Karate Kid.
Well, during the 2002 season, in a loss @ Akron, Marshall QB Byron Leftwich hurt his leg fairly significantly (turned out to be a fractured tibia). Marshall Head Coach Bob Pruett, a man of the highest sports ethics, risks Leftwichâs future NFL career by leaving the superstar QB in the game. My wife and I watched the game unfold and see Leftwich literally being carried by his lineman down to the field to the next play because he could not move. See video of the event=> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-jzYMSiNHQ
Now game is the week before Marshall was to play Miami game in a game that would likely decide who wins the MAC East. So as we are watching this, my wife joked to me âSweep the Leg.â
I found it funny (because it was) and jokingly posted it on (a prior version of) MHT.com. Others found it funny. Nobody actually advocated that Miami play dirty and hit Leftwichâs leg.
(SIDE NOTE: I am sure Miamiâs coaches were not out to get Leftwich either as Sean Payton had already left Miamiâs coaching staff after the 1995 season).
So inbred reporter Chuck Landon reads my post on MHT.com writes a âfire up the massesâ column on how Miamians suck as humans and were wanting the RedHawks to âSweep the Legâ of Byron Leftwich. He literally wrote âSweep the Legâ in the newspaper column. It was hilarious.
The Herdiban were discussing it on their fan forum. I jump in and explain the background with my wife/etc. as noted above. Some of the Herdinistas had choice names for my wife and others took the high road and said it was not funny (bullshitâŚit was hilarious!!!).
But one particular Herd fan, who went by the handle âPokey Reeseâ (he was a Reds fan), got the joke and had a sense of humor about it. Pokey shipped to our home a gift for my wife (in her size) a red t-shirt with white lettering that read âSweep the Leg.â The t-shirt had a white silhouette of a guy making a karate move. The t-shirt is very similar to the one Jack Black is wearing in the picture below..
It was a great present/gesture and a nice comic capstone on a ridiculous chain of events. Nearly 24 years later, my wife still wears it to sleep in!
