It’s arbitration. You don’t start with what you’re offering directly to the player. It’s not like baseball arbitration where the arbiter decides between the team’s offer and player’s offer. They pick a number in the middle. Both sides start with crazy numbers. >7MM is also rediculous.

It’s mind bending how consistently mediocre or poor management has been since inception. Waddell is going to retire and leave the team with nothing.

- Bowness seems hellbent on destroying the garbage culture
- Vogelhuber is the coach in waiting.
