I think our posts must have crossed paths as I put this up earlier. No worries, if I can figure out how to delete mine I will.

Since moving to Chicago, I’ve discovered how much Miami is a south-side school. Lots of interest from the Beverly neighborhood, and south/sw suburbs like Hinsdale, Tinley Park and Orland Park. York, where Kyle Waltz is from, is near Hinsdale … just an interesting pipeline from this region to Oxford!

Article has a paywall if anyone has a Sun Times account.

Quick release. You’ll notice after the dunkfest concludes.

Naperville is Carmel, Ind west.

IIRC, Loyola Academy is the top feeder to us (in student count) across all of Illinois, with Hinsdale South right behind it.

Isn’t New Trier up their also in supplying Miami with students?

Quite the dunker!

Yep…They beat Indiana, UD, UC, and Xavier in the first seven games!

My last edit! I promise!

Yeah that would make sense. I have no clue what the original source was.

Tore a ligament in a finger heading into senior year, never really got together while it was still healing, then had a great AAU circuit—situation where reclassification was a great choice.

Hinsdale South is not the Hinsdale (b/k/a Hinsdale Central). Interesting stats about New Trier and Loyola Academy, as they are super-duper richie-rich communities on Chicago’s North Shore …
