After watching in-person this team dominate the MAC Tournament in Avon last week, and then seeing this effort today, I couldnāt be more proud of our baseball team.
And, itās been a great academic year of sports overall!

This game was so similar to the Miami at Ball State final game of the regular season. We had to win to win the MAC and get the #1 seed and it went like 5 hours and we run ruled them 26-16 in 8 innings. 4 and a half hour game todayā¦Proud of the team. They just grind out every pitch and never give up.

The Tennessee fans in attendance were really rooting for Miami. I know that is similar to how most of the arena teams up against the top seeds during March Madness but it was nice to see a Miami team get that treatment.

Heartbreaking ending, but even with upcoming player losses the future looks bright with Smiley at the helm. Winning the MAC and going toe-to-toe with an ACC team in the tourney are nothing to be ashamed of.
