Kent has done their usual thing of figuring themselves out and peaking at the end of the year. They probably should’ve beaten us in Oxford, our win probability was at 7% when we were down 7 at the under 4 timeout. But Suder banked in a 3 and we closed strong and found a way in overtime.
For Kent, Sullinger’s shot selection has improved and the others have settled into their respective roles. They have the #1 defense in the league and in league play. They’re the #1 offensive rebounding team in the league, so we need to bring the same energy to the boards as we did today. They especially killed us on the glass in Oxford. Otherwise, the plan is similar, make Sullinger shoot 2s and everyone else 3s. An x-factor could be Barnett who is only a 32% 3 point shooter off the bench, but he’s very streaky.
For us, the advantage we have is our wings’ ability to shoot. Suder, Elmer, and Byers combined were over 40% from 3 in the 2 games. Kent’s wings are more inside players so they’ve had trouble coming out and guarding our more perimeter-oriented wings. As a team, we’re over 40% from 3 in the 2 games. We’re also better than 80% at the line in the 2 games. Let’s find the right rhythm on offense with ball reversal and misdirection. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more set plays called from the bench, especially to get Craft going, who struggled in the 2 games vs. Kent, just 1/7 from 3.

I guess it’s been awhile since I’ve cared but since when are MAC semifinal games on CBS Sports (that I don’t get)???
Same here. I read sometimes they are on Paramount +, which I have, on some of the live TV channels. Any other options anybody knows of?
I think sometimes CBS Sports games are also on ESPN+? I do have that.
My high school alma mater is playing Maria Stein Marion Local at 6:00 pm tonight in the OHSAA D-VI semifinals 
My remote is going to get a workout.
