2025 Football Recruiting Thread

Opening a Belleville pipeline is a nice development. A lot of good prospects coming out of that program.

Belleville had their 38 game winning streak broken in the 2023 state championship game. One of the great powers in Michigan HS fball for several years. So, one thing is clear–our guys know how to win, and expect to win!
Great job coaches. We have been knocking on their door for the last several years and are now enjoying recruiting success. Also, I love to see it when brothers follow each other to become 'Hawks!

Smith was offered by Michigan State last night. He plans to take a visit. Not great

Sometimes (often) a commitment is not a commitment.

Bonding…Same last name as the new MSU HC.

The Belleville bandwagon keeps on rolling. Big time addition

Belleville again.

Edit: It was nothing.

It took some time, but Indiana High School football, has really progressed since the NFL allowed the Colts to move to Indy.
It was 99% hoops,IMHO.

Now to complete the Belleville commits, we need to flip their QB. Bryce Underwood, '25, is the 247 rated #1 player in Michigan, #1 QB in '25 class and #1 rated player in the '25 class in the country! He’s now committed to LSU.
He can continue to throw/play with three of his buddies. Be a nice addition!!

Don’t leave us searching all the recruiting sites for info! I am always eager for more good news. Maybe a big time QB? Underwood would fit the bill. Got a name?
These recent classes are going to make us strong for years. Chuck and coaches are doing a phenomenal job building our team. Love it!!
Thanks for the tease.

Don’t know specifics, just going by the breadcrumbs posted on Twitter. Sounds like a WR and defensive player. When the recruits go public with their commitments, I’ll post them here.

A huge commitment, literally and figuratively. Big position of need too.

Second commit is a WR from Georgia. According to his Twitter, he had multiple P5 offers including Vanderbilt, Oregon State, and Kansas State.

Great! Thanks for the news. I appreciate your efforts to inform us! Hope you don’t think I was a putz with my comment. Just a recruiting fanatic!
As is the case with Belleville, Cass Tech in Detroit produces D1 players yearly. Many are P5 signees. Love to hit the Detroit area (especially since I live here!)

Defensive linemen from Detroit and wideouts from Georgia seems to be a solid recipe for success.

An 11-win season and vocal CFP ambitions will help grab attention and improve recruiting with a competent staff. Fortunately Martin and crew have shown definite growth overtime with development and game planning/management as well.

DJ is a magician on the field, constantly turning short plays into big gains. His excels at deep route running using his speed to beat DBs. His best trait is his speed and elusiveness after the catch, he is very difficult to tackle in the open field. He has great hands with the ability to catch in traffic. DJ is a very talented Wide Receiver and has the potential to develop into one of the best WRs in his class.
