Miami opened up their season with a 4-0 win on Friday against UC Davis and a 6-1 win today against St Francis
Highlights from the win over St. Francis:
Miami moves to 3-0 with a 4-1 win over New Hampshire
3-1 loss to Iowa and 5-1 loss to northwestern
Miami began conference play with an 11-0 win against bellarmine!
3-1 win against Michigan State!
Post game wrap up and interview. Great win!
7-0 win over Kent state
3-1 loss to MAC newcomers UMass who made the national championship last year
Gonna be a big test. On the one hand, Mac is now instantly better. On the other, we gotta get an at large or beat UMass.
Miami beats app state 7-0, UMass has to be really really good
2-1 loss to wake forest
Overtime with the 7th ranked team on the road, where regulation corners and SOGS were even. Not too shabby.
3-1 win over JMU
JMU was 22 in the RPI, so a road win there is big. Miami is 20 fwiw, and should move up when it’s updated tomorrow.
Yea us!
Up to 15 in the RPI rankings
Extra important this year since the MAC is stronger with Umass, App St, and JMU. Miami is no longer a near lock to win the MAC Tournament, and being in position for an at large would be huge. I’d guess they’d have to get to 12 or so. Anyone with an idea of what RPI is necessary for an at large?
Supposedly there are 18 teams which 10 of them are AQs so top 8 teams that don’t already qualify
