Nice that they offered him a free set of tires.

It’s Akron and he’s a transfer, so by definition we’re talking retreads here.

I think it is pretty clear what happened with Khory Moss. Good luck at Akron.

Looks like Lukasa has committed to Missouri St and Ehrlich to Valpo

So both dropping back. While Missouri State is now in CUSA, they are a definite drop back from Miami. Lukasa is a good pickup for Missouri State. Valpo is FCS.

We could use at least 1 more DL- anyone have info on Kam Wilson ( portal DL from UC last year - I think he was hurt this year ) and DL Hammonds who showed real promise in 2024 and perhaps also injuried this last year. Any news on Tito Glass and Keith Reynolds?

A lot of schools have already put up a 2026 roster on their website, it would be nice if we could do the same just to get an answer of some of this. They might be waiting until they finish in the portal.

We still have Monday for school to start so that might be part of the delay. We might not know until Monday

Does anybody have the years of eligibility for these guys, not that it means they will stay that long.

With this many new guys we need a new signing day press conference

We will have an official press release when all portal signings are complete. I confirmed that with the athletic dept.

I hope it’s more timely than the plan for basketball that Dodo promised. @mollautt

“Ellens can certainly run, clocked at 10.73 seconds in the 100-yard dash and 21.84 in the 200. That kind of skill set attracted the attention of Iowa State and other schools.

Ellens said that other schools recruited him as a receiver, or offered him as a cornerback. But he likes the dual roles that a position like safety brings.

“Safety, I like it. You guard people and you get to come up and hit,” Ellens said. “I like to come up and hit people. I like guarding people as well and making plays.”

Note:We offered him in high school.

Glad we are getting a DB who likes to hit.

and guard people - maybe with his speed he won’t have to give the WR a 10 yard cushion
