Add Karner (from Texas A&M) to that list as well. I’m with you redhawk10, I thought it was odd that we brought in three TEs from P4 programs (Karner, Kosin, and Leeper) and the TE seeing the most action was Shane, who I believe is a former walk-on. Even when we went to a double TE formation the second TE was Becker. I think this more than anything else shows how overall our 2025 portal signings were a big swing and a miss.
Of the Miami players still in the portal the two I wouldn’t mind returning to the fold are Glass and Lukasa.

This probably was not the original plan. Enrlich entering the portal must have changed the plan.

Didn’t see it in this thread but freshman quarterback Jonah Kroenung has also entered the portal. Hesson being out of eligibility left only Gotkowski on the roster.
Do coaches ever forget about a player in the portal and he ends up staying in there?
On paper a QB room of TG, McComb, Thune and the true freshman coming in should be ok.
Excited to see what McComb can do….
Looking at OU and Toledo. Both lost a lot, both reloading. Toledo is funny. I bet at least half the ones they are bringing in are from Mercer, with Holy Cross close behind.
