Thank you Michigan Schools.
Wow five players in the top 15. Impressive.
Educate me, please. How can Kent be the No. 3 team in the league … but not have even one player in the Top 10 and only one in the Top 15.
Smoke and mirrors???
Akron is clear No. 1 … Miami is clear No. 2 but by these rankings no threat to No. 1 … Kent is clear No. 3 … but no threat to Miami or Akron.
Is Akron that far ahead of the rest of the league?
Are the bottom 10 teams that far behind the Top 3?
Wow - the bottom 5 are atrocious teams. It is shocking to see UB so low with what they had at one point. The torch fell and the flame went out. I’m hoping to see the bottom rise and the top get better this year.
I know this has been said, but I can’t wait until NIU is gone.
Thanks for posting. Nice to see we have all 5 potential starters listed in the top 15 in the league! Only team with that. Not surprisingly, Akron next with 3.
A little surprised to not see Tavari Johnson from Akron or Jackson Pavaletzke from OU not in there. Their defensive metrics must be terrible.
Ipsaro’s offensive rating being so high doesn’t surprise me. He’s basically 50, 40, 80 splits and super efficient. I would love to see him be more aggressive this season game to game. No reason he can’t be a 10-12 ppg a night type of player and maintain that efficiency.
Also, I keep forgetting Umass is in the MAC now.
He’s a joke.
I don’t know about anyone else, but a starting 5 of Ipsaro, Elmer, Byers, Woolfolk, and Suder would be more than fine with me. Those are the 5 Miami players in the top 15 above. And the way Steele rotates, like he did last year, there are plenty of minutes to share with the top 4-5 off the bench. Additionally, we can keep fresh legs on the floor, as Steele has said he wants to play an uptempo style. Luke Skaljac, I imagine, might be first off the bench, and rightly so, to spell Ipsaro or Suder. Atlason to spell in the frontcourt. I would imagine Tyler Robbins sees some time spelling Woolfolk. I don’t know enough about the other new guys to comment on who else is in the rotation, but we have a lot of nice options. For instance, I could see a backcourt at times of Perry and Skaljac. Again, though, beyond Luke and Atlason, I haven’t seen enough of the new guys to comment. But we certainly seem to have a very talented roster.
Just looking at Miya’s team rankings and Miami, at 106 is ranked one spot above Team Pedon, ISU.
