You know, I looked through that list of offers and then saw that he was visiting this weekend. I was thinking there is no other University on that list that could offer anything comparable to what Oxford and Miami had to showoff on Saturday. Beautiful sunny Fall Saturday with a big crowd and big tailgating atmosphere and a dominating football performance. Campus looked great, beautiful girls all over the place. Uptown was hopping all day… Then I looked at the next post and saw he committed.
His visit was in early September.

Started his HS career at Chambersburg HS/Chambersburg, PA. After Freshman season, he transferred to Scotland Campus a prep school in PA (Scotland Campus is now closed). After Scotland Campus, he played for Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA). Reclassified to class of 2024 and is playing at Newman School in Boston

There’s a trend with most of the players who Steele has gone after: they can all shoot. Byers might be someone who will need to add some weight for college, but he can definitely stretch the floor
