Toledo should’ve gone for it at the end of regulation. They obviously had a whole stable full of good 2 Point Conversion plays.

What a rollercoaster of emotions in that game. Twice late in overtimes Toledo thought they won only to have it taken away by a penalty and a replay. But they hung in there Maction baby!

Indiana Jones (I mean, junior) with a buck 96 receiving. Why do people think the MAC is so bad? Not us on this board…but the world. We continually hang with better teams. Pitt was quality this year but not tnite. Good for UT on the win.

Didn’t get a chance to see it (out with family in town), but see they had a crowd of 26k. Not too bad for a bowl game these days.
Lol at Pitt losing six in a row after starting 7-0.
Narduzzi not going for it on the one yard line was softer than Curt Cignetti in South Bend. They deserved to lose.

BG looked like crap the first 10 minutes against Ark St. Fell behind 10-0. Falcons scored on a fake punt 43 yard pass with 3:58 left in the 1st. 10-7 now.
Arkansas State vs BUGS is a fantastic game!
BG goes down 10 as Arkansas State scores again early in the 3rd qtr. BG fumble led to the short field score. Now 31-21.
BG hits 38 yard FG. 31-24 Arkansas State. BG D needs to step up if they are gonna win this game.
BG’s kicker Zach Long has missed 3 FGs tonight. Dom has missed 4 all season.

Disappointing loss for BG…they racked up a lot of yardage early while managing to fall behind. The Toledo 6 OT win against P5 programs got a lot of press today so that ended up being a really good win for the conference. Of course, Toledo benefitted by the Pitt starting QB being out. Still, a nice win.

Harold Fannin Jr. had 17 receptions for 213 yards .

Arkansas State’s plan was obviously to make Fannin beat them. They almost completely shut down the BG run game and made Bazelac uncomfortable. Had BG’s ST not been such a disaster, the Falcons probably would have won. In addition to the missed FG, the had their first PAT blocked and run back for 2 and the gave up a punt return TD. They had a misguided fake punt go wrong late, too, but managed not to give up points on the Wolves’s short field drive. The ASU Kicker missed a chip shot FG.
It’s now up to Miami and Buffalo. Win them both and the MAC is probably Capital One Bowl Champs again.
Is there a trophy?
