Miami is ranked 233rd in the nation to open the season out of the 362 teams. This is 35 spots higher than where we ended last season. 209th ranked offense and 263rd ranked defense.

This would at least put us into the MAC tournament and I find it hard to believe we dwell around 233 for long as soon as this roster begins to mesh together.
I think (hope) it’s between 125 and 150. I won’t say that’s my expectation only because we need to see how all the new faces gel, and whether Safford is back at some point.
I think that’s a reasonable goal for the year, OU ended last season ranked 133 and we had that beautiful win over them in Millett. I think we totally could achieve that level this year if it doesn’t take us 2/3 of the season to find our stride like last year.
