You know damn well they did. My senior year, we played Notre Dame on the road and they paid for our housing. Put us up in these amazing condos big football donors got to stay in. Just insane. I’d heard at the time their travel budget was bigger than our entire budget. We lost 4-3 to them indoors. Came down to a three setter. Still bitter today. Would have been a great win for the team.
