Miami holds the tiebreaker. Reds record vs Miami was 3-3 but they have clinched the next tiebreaker intra-division record.
Tonightās game is huge, obviously for the playoff situation but also for two other reasons: 1) a win clinches the Ohio Cup for the first time in a long time; 2) a win clinches a winning season.

Cleveland is 5-0 against the Reds when Bieber starts.
This is probably not the same Bieber. He was pitching poorly and they finally put him on the dl about 3 months ago. His first start back was not good.
Mets crush Marlins 11-2 in first game of doubleheader, but Reds already down 4-0 to Guardians in the 5th and only have one hitā¦not good.
Reds lose 4-3ā¦Iād say that about does it unless the Marlins and Cubs lose most every game.
I get why the replay was inconclusive, but tough call to go the other way in that situation:
Braves beat Cubs but Marlins won second game of doubleheader against the Mets. A Reds win tonight would have given them legitimate shot but it looks pretty hopeless now barring a miracle.

Reds elimination number vs the Cubs is 3, vs the Marlins it is 2.
Schedule favors the Marlins as well.
Cub lose, Marlins split. They are tied 1 and a half game ahead of the Reds. We have 3 games left, they both have 4. Tonight Acuna did a one man win vs the Cubs. About a month ago he became the first player in MLB History with a 30/60 season 30 HR and 60 stolen bases. Tonight he became the only player to have a 40/60 season. I donāt know if anyone will do this again, but the mostly likely player would be himself.

Highly unlikely scenario here: DāBacks lose to CWS today. Reds sweep Cardinals. Somehow Reds, Marlins, Cubs and DāBacks end up in a 4 way tie. Reds and Marlins are in, Cubs and DāBacks are out.

Wowā¦Cubs down 5-1 to Braves in the 5thā¦makes you lament those awful losses to the Pirates.
Diamondbacks and Cubs lose. Trailing 1-0 in the 9th against the Mets, The Marlins scored 2 and with 3 outs in the top of the 9th it started raining and they have been on delay maybe an hour with the Marlins now up 2-1.
If Marlins do win tonight thatās about āall she wroteā for Reds, and looking like Cubs are out too.

Marlins game suspended, to be completed on Monday if needed.
If it is not needed to determine a playoff spot, the Mets will win the game 1 to nothing . If they finish it Monday, Marlins are ahead 2 to 1 in the top of the 9th. This game is also very important to my fantasy baseball team as I need the 7 shutout innings and the Quality start and a bunch of strikeouts from the Marlins starter.

I think I have a scenario figured out to get the Reds in. Not very likely but not totally impossible.
Reds sweep Cardinals
Astros sweep Diamondbacks
Cubs lose at least one game to Brewers.
If those happen, there is a three way tie with Reds, Cubs and DBacks and Reds get in based on tiebreakers.
