Indiana at Notre Dame: Just a few minutes into the game and each QB has thrown a pick.
Love with a 98 yard TD run 7-0 Irish
Since ND always ends the season either at USC or at Stanford, the Irish have typically had to win that road game to clinch anything of significance (mythical national title, alliance bowl bid, BCS bid, CFP bid, etc.)… which means that Notre Dame usually doesn’t get the chance to clinch anything in South Bend. As a result, one could argue that this is, in fact, the most important home game in Notre Dame’s history.
While that is subjective, it is objectively funny that what may be the most important home game in Notre Dame’s history is on ABC and not on NBC.
We moved the ball against ND better than Indiana has.
Wow Curt, you really beat the **it out of them when punting on 4th down, trailing by 3 scores in the 4th quarter. And another big letdown performance by Rourke in a big game. Yeah, his O-line ended up being average, but he had a chance to make a couple of throws and missed them.
What is with kicking there? In a playoff game? Utterly bizarre.
That wasn’t a 27-17 gsme.
