12 Team CFP Game Tracking

Indiana at Notre Dame: Just a few minutes into the game and each QB has thrown a pick.

Love with a 98 yard TD run 7-0 Irish

Since ND always ends the season either at USC or at Stanford, the Irish have typically had to win that road game to clinch anything of significance (mythical national title, alliance bowl bid, BCS bid, CFP bid, etc.)… which means that Notre Dame usually doesn’t get the chance to clinch anything in South Bend. As a result, one could argue that this is, in fact, the most important home game in Notre Dame’s history.

While that is subjective, it is objectively funny that what may be the most important home game in Notre Dame’s history is on ABC and not on NBC.

We moved the ball against ND better than Indiana has.

Wow Curt, you really beat the **it out of them when punting on 4th down, trailing by 3 scores in the 4th quarter. And another big letdown performance by Rourke in a big game. Yeah, his O-line ended up being average, but he had a chance to make a couple of throws and missed them.

What is with kicking there? In a playoff game? Utterly bizarre.

That wasn’t a 27-17 gsme.

SMU in white on white with white helmets at a white out game vs PSU with white pants and white helmets. Idiots all around.

SMU’s standard road uniform is white/white/white. Why should they change that just because PSU’s helmets and pants are white?

Maybe SMU was going for the psychological edge of having all the fans dresses like them. Lol

So, the initial spread of the IU/ND game was ND -6.5. I didn’t take any action on this game, but was looking at a Sportsbook app as the game was going on. After ND scored their first TD, the spread went to ND - 14.5, and got up to ND -24.5.

I’d have been super pissed had I taken ND minus the points after the 1st quarter!

I still don’t get why PSU doesn’t wear its all-white uniforms during white out games. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Also SMU’s QB looks like he should be playing for a D3 team right now.

Isn’t it easier to see your players wearing blue if the other team is washed out in a white background?

Maybe their quarterback would not be throwing the ball to the wrong team all day if they had red helmets or blue helmets? Red pants or blue pants?

They could be wearing highlighter yellow with purple polka-dots and it wouldn’t matter right now.

On offense, you know where your players are going, the defense doesn’t, so it shouldn’t impact the QB trying to find his receivers.

It should be more jarring for the opposing QB, who isn’t used to playing in that situation while trying to avoid defenders that, in theory, could blend in with the crowd.

Someone cut his class in Foundations of Interior Design.

I think the visitors get to choose. Became a controversial subject a couple times this year.

Gonna be a lot of BS pressure on the committee to pick some undeserving SEC teams for the playoff after the whipping that IU and SMU got. To which I’ll reply “don’t lose to Vandy and Oklahoma” (or whatever bad losses those future teams have).
