The Deirdre and Scott characters are so spot on. They are like an amalgamation of every dual income/professional no-kids couple I have ever met living on the coasts. Their house gets every single detail correct. Kudos to the actors and the folks that do the settings/props.

The best thing about this is that there really was no need for Larry to make up the Todd story. He could have explained why he was there and they most likely would have understood. And then, even when he does tell the story there’s absolutely no need to add the detail about his uncle being an osteopath but he drops it in anyway. I honestly couldn’t breathe from laughing at this.
