In the mythology of many Native American cultures the role of the “trickster” is often depicted as a coyote (though it is likely the trickster role in Myaamia stories is played by the raccoon, IDK). That said, I’ll leave it up to some of the more creative types around here to come up with game day coyote themes and memes for the Adam Trick-led Miami defense. Please, no ACME anvils.
Even just three bars from Bye Bye Bye by N’sync would be fine. Like not the whole song by any means just that one riff every time he has a big stop would be fine.
I’m loving everything he’s doing on the field, but it’s bittersweet that he’s getting so much recognition for his play (well deserved) when it makes it more likely he enters the portal come December.

The best place for Miami to be in the current landscape is a school that sends kids on to big programs and paydays. That will replenish the coffers and get the flywheel going.
Adam has given this program 4 years. If he chooses to go somewhere for Year 5 we should celebrate it as a success for Miami football.

100%, though I wish there was a better way for him to get what he deserves while staying in Oxford. Every time I see Ivan Pace and UC together during Vikings games it feels wrong, and we’re staring at that again.

Maybe he gets drafted this year. He’s likely player of the year defense. Why not just get drafted from the MAC. No guarantee year at a big school does that. Ask our old kicker who went to Bama.

That’s a lot of $ per fg attempts/made.

I don’t disagree but I would point out what happened to Caden Woullard after he took a payday, another recent great Miami pass rusher. But I don’t begrudge them taking the payday. After all college athletics now are professional sports whether people want to acknowledge that or not.
And don’t forget Bai Jobe, also on this list. The two of them have really come on since MAC play started

Difficult accomplishment since O lineman can hold and MAC refs won’t throw a flag.
