Officials: Bob Muntis, Jeff Lisath, and Tim Kroeger.

Random thoughts: 18 steals headed by Smith’s 6…Very productive game from Smith…Julian Lewis with solid numbers.

And Smith’s 6

Officials were Jeff Lisath and Tim Kroeger?

You’re lucky they apparently didn’t give out any technicals.

Smith and Lewis with double doubles.

Goshen took 2 free throws, missed both.

I wrote a post earlier but fat fingers hit delete. We need more rebounding to have any chance at keeping UGA respectable and I wish ESPN would show player minutes in the box.

We gotta pass better- to get quality shots.

Billy, Billy, Billy…my sleeper…need that confidence against a quality opponent, next steps…

Kid is going to be really good. Owens gets credit there.

I have liked parts of what I have seen from all of the newcomers, but my favorite 2 so far are Billy Smith and Eli Yofan. I will always be a fan of players like Yofan that play with ending grit, toughness, and enthusiam. And he is pretty talented as well.

None of them will be any good without 100% buy in.

We aren’t there yet. Not even close to execution of practice principles. Players still chasing their individual interest above team. Miami will get its ass kicked all over the Midwest without total offense and defense commitment.

I guess I missed this, but I didn’t realize that the Western Michigan game and our game were exhibition games for Goshen. Can we just pick two games on our schedule and make them exhibitions? I choose Indiana for one…

Does that mean the Goshen games were not buy games for Western Michigan and Miami? In other words, Goshen didn’t receive any money.

It means NAIA teams can’t count NCAA games towards their record.

Is the reverse true as well?

Definitely…share the ball, rebound the ball…no you defensive assignment.

Mehki is so talented…but I like to see 3 to 1 ratio on midrange to drives…his midrange is so strong and best scoring.

Mabrey needs to seetle in more…but he’ll get there.

Yofan is a buy in kid…and why he’ll see a bunch of time.

No we can count them.

Scrimmage/exhibition for them…game for us.
