21 assists for Clemson… 11-30 for us and 13-24 for Clemson (3-pointers).

Only out-rebounded by 1 against an ACC team. Fewer than 10 TOs. This one was there for the taking.

Yup…looking at ~16-17 win season now, if I had to guess. We show no ability to win close games, with 22-24 year olds…which does not bode well for the MAC.

How do you figure 16-17 wins? They’ll likely finish OOC with 7 wins. Do you really think this is only a .500 MAC team?

At this point yes, until we show that we can win close games…I think the only logical prediction is ~500 in MAC play. Take out the D3 teams, what do have? Our old friend .500, can’t get away from it.

The MAC is rough…I may revise post-Bellarmine game results, but right now 10-8, 9-9 is all these guys are showing. Think ESPN predictor has us at 6 losses in MAC, but there will be at least two “what da f#cks” = 10-8.

You realize Miami has one MAC winning season in 10 years (9-8, last year), why would this be a shock?

Miami has to prove they can win, not many good teams go on 4 to 5 game losing streaks.

We’ll see how Bellarmine goes.

I agree that Bellarmine could be a good indicator. The MAC West, outside of UT, is pretty bad. There are no divisions now, and we can potentially beef up on those guys. Take care of business at home against the East, and I can see 12-13 wins. As you’ve noted, though, we have to close out games.
