Spalding at Miami 7:00 Tuesday

62% from 3. Confidence is a great thing.

Mabrey started last season shooting poorly, right? Wonder what it’ll take for him to get some confidence. Glad he’s not shy. This is a good game to take your open shots.

Regardless of what Randy says, I’d trust Steele on how to run an offense.

Missed their last five three pointers of the half.

Weren’t we favored slightly over Evansville and Texas St?

We weren’t by any of the computer ratings I saw.

Scratch that, we were favored against Evansville, who went on to start 5-0.

Morris with 6 quick points to open the half. 42-26

5-11 free throws. Bad

When one of Potter or Mirambeaux are back, is there anyway you don’t start Kotecki over Bultman at the 4?

Isn’t there a coach on this staff that can work with Mabrey to figure things out? He seems like a better player than this.

He’s got the yips. Doesn’t need a coach, needs a sports psychologist.

Edit: just looked up the numbers. He was shooting 37.5% from 3 before this game. So not bad. And he’s 1-6 today. So hitting one of those would put him at a decent percentage on the day, but it really feels like he hasn’t taken that step forward yet.

Kotecki fouls out, team high 19 points.

Haven’t been able to watch. Has he played the 4 or the 5? Or both?

I’m following gamecast, so not sure. Morris played lot of minutes.

Played exclusively the 5 since game 2 of the season. Morris is the only other available big with Potter and Mirambeaux out. But he has the skill set to play the 4

Final:

82-43
