Although I’m ok with the announcers, especially given the fact that they’re respectful to our name (no ‘of’ heard so far, and mostly simply Miami), I do question their math skills, though.
The one announcer said this game will easily get into the 90’s.
Not likely for UMass, as they sit at 36 at half, unless they shoot even better from 3, or the Miami defense disappears.

Need to be more physical on defense. Use some fouls as worst case scenario is they shoot FTs which they are statistically bad at.
Run your offense and get high percentage 2 point shots vs shooting more 3’s. Need to rebound better.

Have done much better on Bettiol than the game at Millett. Almar was practically unplayable on him in Oxford and actually has done fine on him tonight
I think our defense has been quite good other than letting Placide get those open looks for 3. I’m guessing he was not a focus and the plan was to let him shoot and deny Bettiol and Banks. Probably a fine plan, and he just stepped up and hit the shots we gave him.
Wish Wolfolk hadn’t picked up those two late fouls.
Without them, he could have played even more physical in the second half.
Do shitty shooters need to catch fire every game? We are giving open shots but come on

Miami getting hurt by guys who normally don’t hit threes. Miami also has missed three bunnies this half.
