Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. Today was one of those times.
Just putting this here, re Indianapolis Colts:
They have 103 points through 3 games. No Peyton team reached that.
They’ve punted exactly 1 time, fewest through 3 games since at least 1940
They still don’t have a turnover. They’ve forced 5.
Rigberto was bummed that he actually had to punt 
I guess Tomlin must really like those one score games.
Thoughts:
Rodgers throws for 249 yards AND 4 TDs. And loses….Roman Wilson was a bit more involved today, and Pat was finally utilized. But…Is Pat trade bait for another receiver? Perhaps.
D gave up 470 yards to a struggling team….And let them on the field long enough to run 72 plays.

The Steelers were right when they said that tight ends will be the difference in the game! Tucker Craft could not be tackled.
Total yards were 454-295. At least Roman Wilson looked good.

Steelers could realistically lose 7 of their next 8.
Packers made the correct decision re Love over Rogers.
Rogers isn’t the reason the Steelers are losing but he is not a game changer. He is a dink and dunker with the occasional long ball to Metcalf down the sideline. Even if this team makes the playoff they lose first round.
Thru week 8, the Steelers have given the best passing game of the year to Darnold, Wentz, Gabriel, Flacco and Love. 5 out of 7 QBs have had their best game of the year vs the Steelers.
Too bad Valdes-Scantling can’t play defense! Oh well. Maybe he’ll suddenly contribute, although chemistry with AR can only go so far.
Steelera have had the exact same offense for the past 5 years with a different QB and OC almost every year….who is the one piece of consistency? Mediocre Mike

Offense is warm shit. Defense is hot shit. Basically the Steelers are shit.
The pre-season odds makers had the Steelers at around the 18th most likely team to make and win the Super Bowl. Wouldn’t that make a “typical Tomlin" season of 9-8 or 10-7 exceeding expectations?
