NCAA TOURNAMENT-MIAMI V TENNESSEE-GAME NOTES AND GAME THREAD!

Suder is our most physical player.

Need a few more Suders going forward.

Free throws have been better today at least?

What a total d- -k you are, Theman! Get lost!

I hope the Suder rest is short.

Even with 4 fouls, what’s the point otherwise.

That’s the same thought I have. It’s so close to the Sweet 16 game in 1999. The country has had time to learn who Miami is and then running into a more athletic and physical team

Rebounds 27-17 Vols favor.

Of teams that can come back, we can do it. VCU did it.

Unfortunately, the post-mortems are coming soon.

But, I’ll say this…

One HELL of a year!

And, strong reason to be confident of much more to come.

And one big bonus—

Finally, a major accomplishment that more announcers are finally saying “Miami Ohio “ or just “Miami” (the latter, when it’s natural and obvious as to which one) instead of the hated “Miami of Ohio.”

It’s progress.

Hopefully, one day…

THE Miami University!

Gillespie is the Achilles heal and I thought the 3 monsters inside would be the entire problem but we have been crushed on the boards.

I don’t think any of Elmer‘s shots have even been in the cylinder.

Even Travis looks lost.

0 for 7 per the announcer

I love the word “of”.

O for 7

Yeah.

Of Florida!

That blocking foul is what drives me nuts about basketball refereeing.

Woolfolk went straight up.

The Tennessee player totally initiated the contact by trying to reach for the dunk.

The game has devolved into silly time.

But, it’d be nice to keep the final score under 20.

Assuming Pete fouls out in these last three minutes, I might cry…

The Sweet 16 run in 1999 was outstanding but this season has been unforgettable. This team will live forever in Miami history. They brought the Miami community together like never before.

Proud to be Miami!!
