You picked a bad day to quit sniffing glue! Roger, roger
Dang. Karli, itâs nothing personal. Love & Honor first and foremost.
Just like last year, this weekendâs Knoxville Regional coincides with UTâs Commencement Weekend. Good luck finding a hotel room anywhere near Knoxville for under $600 a night!
Lucky you! Good luck with that one!
Iâm not staying there!!
Just being helpful
Thanks. I am very cautious about anything with less than 7+ stars these days. There are a few chains that have let their franchisees slide way down the tubes in terms if cleanliness and safety. I was hoping for the Durham or Columbia Region. If weâd landed there, Iâd planned to go. Theyâre both less than 3 hours drive for me. Knoxville is 7 and I-40 is open again but itâs just one lane through the Smokeyâs. I get the SEC Network.
Tickets for our Knoxville Regional went on sale at 10 this morning. There is no longer an option to buy tickets on the UT or partner Ticketmaster site so they must have sold out. The stadium only seats about 1,600. There seems to be a couple of singles left on Stubhub for about $45 for the opening day session.
The sad breakfast station scene of pigs fighting over the last dregs of waffle batter makes my heart sing. The regional business traveller sitting on a questionable looking comforter making last minute adjustments to a PowerPoint filled with more words than The Magna Carta. I adore it. A breakout session in The Great Smokeyâs Conference room with canned heat warming third rate appetizers. Sign me the hell up! R. Crumb could illustrate this into a great series of images.
Holy crap! That looks like the guy from Too Many Cooks!!!
There is a preview of the NCAA regional at Tennessee and a review of all the top accomplishments of our MAC champs on MuRedhawks.com
Game Day!
Miami vs. #7 Tennessee at 1:30 pm (ET) SEC Network
Dicey weather weekend in Knoxville. This looks like the toughest Regional weâve ever drawn. Weâre the only mid-major in a field with three P4 40+ win teams. Hoping we can surprise somebody and that we donât get run-ruled twice. Shock the world, ladies!
Miami is 100 to 1 odds to win the whole shebang along with UNC & OSU.
I guess Tennessee just needs to throw their gloves and bats on the field for three days and come back to claim the trophy on Sunday.
Last yearâs team, which had far more talent than this yearâs team, sort of limped into the tournament having struggled somewhat at the end of the regular season and the MAC tournament. This yearâs team appears to be firing on all of cylinders late in season when it really counts. Does that mean a different outcome this year? Most likely not, but I feel good that we will have some good competitive games, and maybe we steal a game in the loserâs bracket. Go Miami!
Duke up 10-0 on Howard after two innings. Yikes!
