Iām not crazy to think this team is worse than last year right? Like at least some of the NCHC games were close last year. Every NCHC game minus the first one has been a blowout. And weāve got North Dakota and Denver coming up in our next two series
Nobody wanted to burn Bergās body in a trash bin more than me. I think Iāve been pretty ruthless about the program the last two years. That being said, this year is a complete rebuildā¦not just talent wise but culturally, recruiting, on-ice performance. Itās a complete resetā¦ Iām willing to write this off. Next year will be the year to see marked improvement.

Iām worried about that Denver seriesā¦going in to play at altitude after an over a month long break while theyāve played 5 games (4 of which are against great teams) since our lastā¦
ā¦but maybe theyāll surprise us!
We are essentially starting from square one (again) after hitting absolute rock bottom last season
Itās still early, only the coachās third NCHC series. If we can win even 2 or 3 conference games itās still a step up from last year. I think itāll be a good sign if we can watch the team progress and get better as conference play goes on unlike in the past few seasons where theyāve gotten worseā¦
And theyāre reallllyy giving themselves the opportunity to show their growth at the end of the season with how theyāre starting outš

Yeah Iām definitely not blaming Noreen, all of these are Bergeron guys (minus a couple transfers) just making an observation of how bad this team is

When we have back to back sweeps of Denver UMD and WMU at the end of the season and are on a 6 game win streak going into the postseason weāll look back at this moment and revel on how far weāve come
