This was also the first home conference win with students in session (not j-term, winter break, fall break) since the senior night shutout against UMD in 2022, 1344 days ago.
Feels like every time this team steps on the ice another streak is broken. Our next series we’ll look to break the away conference win streak. Haven’t won since 2023 at UMD (980 days).
I’m sure there’s a long one for our last conference sweep and away conference sweep. Off the top of my head it might have been vs WMU right out of the pod in 2021 at Lawson
Edit: our last conference sweep was against Omaha in 2022 just before the UMD senior night shutout. The last conference away sweep was that WMU series 1764 days ago
