Atrocious officiating, probably hosed the most since the recalled PI against Cincinnati in 2017. Refs are probably gonna keep us from covering the spread, but we havenât done ourselves any favors in making this a close game.

Finnâs INT really was a momentum killer. He had some good plays but that really changed things.

Offensive obviously moved the ball much better but our defense, especially our coverage, looked woefully worse than week 1. I actually thought our defense was surprisingly up to the challenge in week 1. We really were outmatched today totally.
I wonder if OUs coach today said before the game âIâm just getting ready for MAC play.â.

Our run defense was still really good, difference was Rutgers qb can actually pass

I mean, they still ran for 162 yards and 2 TDs. Even if you take away the 35 yarder at the end that didnât really matter, still 125+ yards and 2 TDs. I wouldnât say really good/elite. It didnât totally falter like the coverage did.
The running tds were a 2 yard run and a 4 yard run when the game was over, Iâm not gonna fault them for that

There is another factor here. That Ohio game was a home game. Our schedules have not included power 4 home games - since UC and/or we cancelled our series.
UNLV- James Madison- UConn are really tough teams (probably as good as wvu) with none of the national prestige of a power 4. I wish we would get some 2 for 1s on the schedule but Coach totally disagrees
i also hate the new game at Indiana. That coach is going to run it up on us because that is his path to the playoffs
