Note-I limited my post on dominant performance to the Chuck Martin era. We havenât always done this against teams we should dominate. Nice to see. Even if we pull starters I donât want to see the aggressiveness dissipate.

Even though the talent disparity is huge, I still think we play the 1s for the 3rd quarter. We have a lot of new comers playing for the first time or first time together. Pitt was such an ass kicking they didnât get many good reps to see things click. Have to get as many good snaps as we can.
Itâd be one thing if we were returning 10 starters who knew what they were doing, but we are the opposite.

Our running game still isnât doing a whole lot beyond Jones. I think that aspect our our game could use more work with the starters in the game. Unless Lazaro is injured would like to see him and Yacamelli get some carries with the starting OL.
Apologies for the poor showing. It hasnât always been this bad. Hell, we nearly beat Northern Illinois just last year. The program is a dumpstah fire right nowâŚthe last vestiges of the Chesney era, both players and coaches, are all gone this year. We are literally back to square one with this program.

Arizona State did it last week, too. I didnât realize that was a thing until then. I think they were up 77-7 vs. the designated FCS team after 3 quarters.

I want to see Caleb run some semblance of our normal offense. He needs to get experience running that offense in game time, even if it is with the second and third string.
