Miami men at Ohio Saturday at 1:00

This team has obviously made huge strides in winning games when they don’t shoot well. Just not yet to the level of winning road games against decent opponents when that occurs.

Really not deflated by today’s loss, for some strange reason.

I didnt really like much today to be honest but I would have played Reece more I think. The rec league player from Ashland was abusing Wolfolk down low

But we can still go 14-4 and 23-8 which would be awesome

Compared to our expectations and where Miami basketball has been for fifteen years, this is all playing with house money. And it’s probably good to feel upset rather than resigned about not winning a game like that.

Suder made some questionable decisions on offense, but he was a demon on the boards.

Points off turnovers: 14-5 OU

These last 2 games are very important for momentum going to Cleveland. Buffalo only has 1 senior, but they’ll be playing hard on senior night for him and feeling good after beating Toledo. The intensity we played with today, with good execution will get us a win Tuesday night.

He also did a great job on Paveletske, who was only 2 for 9 and could not back Suder down or shoot over him effectively.

3 straight road losses, we shot poorly again. 26% on threes, not good on fg% or ft% either. When we made our run to cut the 12 point lead it got stopped when we went O for 6 on threes and for two straight possessions Coach Steele called plays which a couple of players I will not name did not know the play and led to terrible possessions.

This loss we did not play as poorly as we did vs WM and EMU, but the competition and atmosphere were both tougher and we shot poorly again. One good thing about our final road trip of the year, at UB Tuesday, I heard that we have a charter flight for that one.
