What are the usual home crowds like? This will be my first year to attend.
For a weekend game with good weather? Maybe 10-15k. I’d guess for a team like UConn it’ll be more but for Holy Cross and some of the MAC games a little less
Parents weekend is usually a bigger crowd (weather dependent) - if it’s a decent opponent they may stick around after halftime. Same with HC
Sadly, Miami generates a fickle crowd who will come if the team is winning, but leave early, I.e., halftime, if the game is not going well. Just as with basketball, the football games are exciting and there is plenty to do in and around the stadium, but a few early losses may diminish the home field advantage considerably. Just win, baby!
Just win, baby! Even when I was there with Roethlisberger, it wasn’t until his final season that students latched onto the team.
Recall Miami bball playing against a David West-led Xavier team and Millett Hall was practically empty.
I do think the new bball arena will significantly help with basketball, but MU students have predominantly cared about OSU football over the years. I’m hopeful the tide is turning with regard to all sports.
Love and Honor!
Maybe a majority for Xavier? Per the box score attendance was 6,817. I looked it up out of sheer curiosity.
Show up, and report back…Easiest way to get an accurate answer.
Welcome…and bring your friends…here and to the games.
Health allowing it, we will be coming in for games even though our daughter, about to start her senior year at Miami, will be in Luxembourg the first semester.
Not a roster post, but our MAC schedule has been released. At Toledo, at Akron, and at Kent in a 4-game stretch will be killer.

That’s a fake Rothstein account, for starters.
Thank you, trying to multi-task quite unsuccessfully. Message removed. I hate these fucking fake accounts. Mit however I know is not fake as I talk with him!
