We were the darling of the college basketball sphere for the better part of 6 weeks. Eventually, positivity runs its course and someone needs to present the countervailing argument for the sake of getting clicks. The great things about Pearl being the poster child for the anti-Miami movement are (1) everyone knows he’s conflicted, and (2) the entirety - and I mean the entirety - of the college basketball landscape despises Bruce Pearl and will give no credence to this nonsense. I’m delighted that he’s the one who has chosen to take up this fight as opposed to someone who might lend some credibility to the movement.
