Thats probably what happened
#5 for Mercyhurst finally called for a foul after committing about a half dozen of them.
Looking in a mirror so far
Steele trying to a few different lineups and defensive looks to try and get these offensive rebounds under control. This was our heel last season as well.
Our shooting has been good so far, but you can definitely feel Suder’s absence. The offense just goes at a different level when he’s on the floor.
I just tuned in and holy shit!!! We’re beating The Lakers!!!
Oh wait. It’s Mercyhurst. Sounds like an old age home. Nevermind.
The game plan is clearly don’t let Benny Blunts beat us…
Don’t go zone against these guys come on…
Not the best start for Miami
Every time Randy claims something was ‘an obvious call’ I’m missing the obvious.
Blunt is on fire.
Miami needs to stop playing Mercyhurst’s game
8 point lead, should be more but it’s fine
Not sure what to make of this half. We’re up 8, have shot well, and limited their star to 3 shots for 5 points.
Other side, we’ve allowed 10 offensive boards against a team that we should out talent by quite a bit. We’ve been sloppy.
Think we are going to button the rebounding up and Woolfolk will start getting some shots to fall (and maybe a whistle or two…), and things will be fine.
Credit Mercyhurst w having some athletic talent. This coach seems to have them playing well. Grabbing 10 offensive boards to Miamis 2.
Any word on why Suder is out?
Could tell Steele was a bit exasperated towards the end. Sloppy, should be up by 15+
We should not be minus 6 in rebounds. My guess is this will be a topic of discussion in the locker room right now
