I copied this from the MAC board ( where they give credit to mollaut for inventing it a long time ago).

UT -5
OU -5
KS -4
UB -2
AU -1
MU +1
BS +2
CM +2
NIU +2
EMU +2
WM +6

You get a minus 1 for winning on the road and a +1 for losing at home. It
assumes a home court advantage. The advantage of this system is that it does not reward teams who have played more home games than road games. Anyway, this would indicate that we are very much in play to make the MAC tournament as 6, 7, or 8 seed.

Yes, you are correct. So maybe the entire standings are off. I just copied them.

NIU has had a great week, winning at Ball State and at Akron tonight. This makes our trip to NIU Saturday look very important and much tougher. They dominated us in Oxford for 35 minutes ( down 15 I think) before we won in OT. Maybe they will be tired with us being their 3rd game in 5 days, but they are also going to be fired up by their success.

We’ve got to be fired up, too. We’re coming off a game where we nearly covered on the road against our biggest conference rival.
