Which I don’t understand at all. I went through the bios, and they’re all alumni with the exception of one guy who went to Wooster (another is an alum with an MBA from OSU, but that should, if anything, make him appreciate sports even more). Since, given their ages, most of them were at Miami when at least one of the three major programs was rocking, I can’t understand their neglect.
On the larger issue of having such an alumni dominated board, I’m not sure if that’s a positive. It’s too incestuous, and I think a board of broader backgrounds and perspectives would be beneficial to Miami in a lot of ways.
